In case you haven’t noticed, Christmas is definitely on the way! In between all the festive cheer and the parties, what are the gifts everyone is talking about this year? Have you spotted any high-street trends?

Health is top of the menu, and two of this year’s most popular big brand gifts are the Nutribullet blender and The Spiralizer, which turns vegetables into spaghetti.

Far less health conscious but certainly no less of a big brand, another top gift this year is anything to do with The Great British Bake Off, namely the 2015 recipe book.

1. Sainsbury’s – Christmas Is For Sharing (Up One)

Heart-warming and adorable, this is not so much an advert as a short film. The smart collaboration with other brands will have guaranteed them extra publicity and marketing clout, and with Britain a self-confessed nation of animal lovers, it only goes to prove that the best Christmas adverts are those featuring animals!

You can’t watch more than 10 minutes of television on a channel with ad breaks at this time of the year without seeing at least one Christmas advert, and this year there seems to be more variety than ever.

So, once again we decided to review them. With no more further ado, here are our Top 10 Christmas Ads of 2014 – in ascending order.
