Here at AQ Bottled Water, bespoke is what we do. We design personalised labels which suit your brand and look great on a water bottle. But it seems we’re not the only ones focusing on individuality just at the moment.

With the launch of the new Not On The High Street Christmas advert (more on Christmas adverts next week) over the last few days, not to mention the numerous catalogues, plus the quirky telescope gift in this year’s John Lewis ad, it seems that individuality is the thing this shopping season.

In no particular order, here are three of our favourites this year!

1. Tesco’s Spookermarket campaign, plus follow-up recipe videos. Fun, silly and on-brand, this campaign had it all.

2. Burger King’s Halloween Burger. Such a distinctive burger design, simple, but memorable.

Here at AQ Bottled Water, we’re always on the look out for fun new ideas for your personalised water bottles.

This week, whilst on our travels, we spotted these on the table of a street-side pub.

Here, they’ve used existing, branded bottles for their table centre piece. But, naturally, we can’t help but think how great this would look with own label water bottles?

Particularly if you run a hotel, and have flowers in vases on your restaurant table tops – why not consider something like this instead?

Here at AQ we know our polyethylene terephthalate. This week, legislation was introduced to England which ruled that from now on, shoppers would be charged 5p per plastic shopping bag.

Generally hailed as being a bit of a nuisance but good news for the environment, we couldn’t help but stop to consider the impact on brands. Branding and the General Election

Unless you’ve been on a very, very long holiday on a remote island with no internet access, you’ll surely have picked up on a little upcoming event known as the General Election.

Wherever your voting allegiances lie, it’s worth considering the role played by the twin powers of branding and PR throughout all parties’ campaigns – you may even get a few ideas!

1. Eye-catching advertising. Whilst most parties and candidates try to have bright, appealing election posters, the prize here has to go to the campaigns dedicated to getting people to vote. This powerful campaign was our favourite.
