When we’re not putting your brand’s logo onto personalised water bottle labels, here at AQ we like to keep an eye on other brands. And this week marks the final episode of one of our favourite brands (in more ways than one!) – The Great British Bake Off.
As ever, it has captured the hearts of the nation, and viewers are expected to tune in to Wednesday’s final in their millions.
So what can we learn from this Great British Brand?
1. When in doubt, use social media. And then use it again. We could all learn a lot from The Great …
Here at AQ Bottled Water, when we’re not putting together the latest water bottle label design, we like to keep an eye on interesting marketing and branding techniques across the industry.
This week, we’re thinking of Autumn products and their marketing. The most obvious one which springs (or perhaps falls) to mind these days is, of course, the Starbucks’ Pumpkin Spice Latte, or PSL. We’ve talked about it before here. Its success as a product is based largely on the strong emotional association with Autumn that it has cultivated over the past couple of years. For many consumers, it simply isn’t …
Here at AQ Bottled Water, we don’t need to be told twice about how useful branded bottled water can be for your business. But in this week’s blog post, we want to specifically look at how bottled water could be useful for the hotel industry.
Many hotels these days provide a whole host of branded items for their guests, from shampoo, to showercaps to dressing gowns. These look great, and certainly all help with branding. There’s one problem with this, however. Most of these items (in the majority of cases at least!) stay in the hotel room.
This means that your carefully …
With Glastonbury still in our minds, Latitude this weekend and many more ahead of us – the season of festival is officially here! As personalised bottled water providers, were always keeping an eye on new marketing opportunities for us and our clients – and festivals are no exception.
As the festival landscape has changed and developed, becoming more and more niche, as Tim Walsh, strategist at RPM says: “it is no longer enough just to show up.”
In order to tap in to the experience company, brands have to engage with potential customers, be in the moment, leave ‘sales mode’ at the …
During last week’s London tube strikes, the free newspaper, Metro, gave out free own-label, personalised water bottles to thirsty travellers.
Personalised water bottles are a great way of keeping your brand at the forefront of peoples’ minds. And in this recent heatwave, who doesn’t want a free drink of water?
It’s worth remembering, too, that lots of us re-use our water bottles these days, taking them to the gym and to work with us.
So don’t delay, get in touch with us and we’ll help you put your brand into your customer’s hand!
Drinking your personalised bottled water may have been one way to keep cool during last week’s heatwave, and the hottest day of the year so far, but lots of brands were quick to jump on the #hottestdayoftheyear hashtag with their own ideas.
Here are a few of our favourite quick-off-the-mark marketing campaigns from brands last week:

Our very own Nick undertook a challenging charity bike ride recently. Now back from the journey, he reports back below:
Following a double fracture of my left arm 8 weeks before, it was with some trepidation that I set off for Liverpool airport on the morning of 15th June. As part of a team of 35 riders and support staff we departed to take on a mammoth 600 mile ride across 2 European Countries, in the hope of raising over £25,000 for Bolton Lads and Girls Club.
The team of 34 men and 1 woman rode from Geneva to Nice in 6 …
Whilst we’re known as suppliers of own label, branded and personalised bottled water, it doesn’t mean we don’t appreciate other great designs and packaging – whether they’re on a water bottle or not!
So, with that in mind, here’s our first design ‘pick of the week’.
We love this churros packet with a built in chocolate sauce container! What do you think?
You can find us on Pinterest here for more of our favourite packaging, design and much more!
Time has flown by since we provided the bottled water for the series launch of this year’s Game of Thrones. The finale is almost upon us!
Here’s another review from Charlie to keep you going until all the answers are finally revealed…
The much awaited episode 9 has finally arrived and it was… a bit of a mixed bag. It’s was ok but there wasn’t really that whole “wow, that’s was so cool” feel to the episode.
I’ll start with Dorne. Nine episodes in and Dorne has proved to be a very pointless storyline this year and with one episode left I think …
This week saw the penultimate episode of this series of Game of Thrones, the infamous ‘Episode 9’. Did you know that we, working with The-Recipe, provived the bottled water for the Game of Thrones series launch party?
To celebrate, here’s a great look back on the series so far from Charlie, a big fan of the show. We look forward to more instalments from him in the future!
Eight weeks in and Game of thrones is nearing its climactic 9th episode, so let’s take a look at the season so far. Firstly this season has been a little different to previous …
